BABA and MAMA JESSE are happy that all their children, JESSE, BARBARA and MOSE have come to their rural retirement home for a family get together to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. Mose has even, at long last, brought a fiancée, ALISON. However they watch horrified as years of unresolved sibling conflicts erupt, the children and the parents fight with each other, and their illusion of a happy family collapses in front of their eyes. Someone has to face everyone and save the situation or else the family will forever break apart.
