Makku exposes the situation of the people of her community within three days after she lost her mother in the genocide, she finds refuge in a camp at a bush, with strangers affected by the war, with less food and basic necessity they hunt and fight for survival. Migration is the only way out as the men to protect them are killed, the move through the hills to find a new home as the nausea of their past lives plague their minds, the hope and wish for peace.
